This includes things like text-based writing such as Forums and Private Messages, writing over MMOs such as Final Fantasy 14 & Guild Wars 2 an even enjoying Table Top Roleplaying games such as Pathfinder, D&D & Lancer. A game of truths and lies...

ㅤEricㅤ has never, once, hidden who she is. A merchant by trade, a spymaster by past choices made. Nor has she hidden her interest in the dark and unknown. Often, she has inquired about the location of cults and is often open about her search for the odd trinkets used in questionable rituals.The elezen woman has been described as flamboyant and furious, but direct—someone who takes great pride and care when it comes to their appearance. In fact, Eric’s clothes seem to be a particular topic of interest in some conversations. A woman with a taste for the fine things in life, along with the exotic. She has a merchant's eye and a diplomat's tongue. While Eric is a woman who is appreciative and respectful of those around her, she knows what she wants - especially when it comes to men, leading to some considering her rather promiscuous.She is someone who, if kept in Ishgard, would consider it drudgery or even a punishment. Instead, she craves travel as a merchant, and has long romanticized the stories of the Warrior of Light and the Scions, to the point where she often concerns herself with justice and noble causes, dreaming of saving the world and fighting for causes she puts her passion into. This is something she is so passionate and focused on that others often say she is "so ready to save the world that she often loses herself" in the causes she champions. ㅤbiographyㅤIn a misty town on the border with Dravania, Erisha Beaufortux was born to simple parents, who bore neither great skill nor great courage, but lived their lives simply and with happiness. Simplicity, however, seemed not to be in the child’s future – From a young age, she constantly sought adventure, exploring with an abandon that neared defiance of the wishes of her parents. As she aged, she had a notable talent for adventure, often climbing over rocks and trees, and exercising her stealth, to great effect. As with most people born in her village, she has an unerring sense of direction, and, despite repeated forays from the town proper, never got lost, and never failed to find her way home. In her early teen years, she became less and less feminine, and, despite her birth, began to satisfy her parent’s hopes for a son. She cropped her hair short, and bound her loose clothes with strips of woven plant fibers, often pelting the other kids with sticks and small stones, from the safety of total concealment, in the upper boughs of the sparse trees. One tendency she kept, however, through all her years, was a love for the flute, which she would exercise often, in the gray mornings, when the sun just barely began to light the mist which always covered the land. Finally, recognizing her distaste with the constancy and simplicity of village life, her parents began to save up their few spare coins, to prepare to send her to the greater city of Ishgard.Her opportunity came when, during mid-summer, a Merchant came out of the fog west of the village, on his usual route, to sell his wares. Over the years, he had witnessed the growing prowess of the young Erisha, and her ever-greater dissatisfaction with her home. He offered to take her on, with him, as he made his rounds toward Ishgard, and even pay her for her time. Her duties, on the trip, would be simply to keep watch, and to entertain him with her flute. The Merchant was well-known throughout the villages of the Highlands, as he made a circuit that began and ended at the city of Ishgard, which would take him most of a year.


― Roads of the North

Erisha accompanied him along his trip, and learned a great deal about the roads, and the ways around the land. Her instinctive feel for the land served them well, with unusually thick patches of the misty mountains hardly slowing them, as her sure reckoning carried them through arcane eddies, where compasses went mad, and the road seemed to twist and vanish. He taught her mercantile sense, the relative values of various items and currencies, which they found as they travelled through the Coerthan lands. After nearly six months of travel, he finally began to teach her the use of various weapons. As any child born in the borderlands, she knew the basics of blade and bow, but little more than was necessary to drive off hostile animals which occasionally wandered out of the mist. She learned the value of a weapon worn openly, and the value of a weapon concealed; She learned the value of silence, and in time, she learned the value of a good deck of cards.By the age of sixteen, she was proficient with thrown darts, small blades, the short sword she wore at her hip, and a lovely set of cards she carried with her wherever she went. She could identify any of more than a hundred different herbs that would be encountered along the edge of the road, or the depths of the forest. She could brew a cure to any of a number minor diseases and poisons and create nearly twice as many poisons of her own. She could milk a spider or a snake with equal ease, and, through accidental exposures, began to acquire a resistance to the various poisons available throughout the world. And over time Erisha found herself traveling with the merchant over the course of another four years, finally taking her leave of him on her twentieth name day, with a small fortune to her name in the city of Ishgard.


― Ishgard

A small fortune, that over the next year, she spent most of it gambling and drinking, and, in that time, made a great number of connections throughout the city, finally coming into her own as somewhat of an information dealer, with a quiet, but occasional knowledge of poisons. Her varied services slowly began to rebuild her fortune, until, finally, after a year, the merchant returned with a gift – An offer from a secretive but well-known group of Heretics working within and outside the city.After joining, she travelled with him, once more, but took her leave at a small town with a very active heretic presence, where she honed her knowledge with various tools and weapons into focused skill. She learned to kill, by blade or poison, to persuade, to lie, to disguise herself from sight and from recognition. She honed her instinctive sense of direction in the deep forests, where she harvested poisons and herbs from the lairs of dangerous creatures.Upon her return to Ishgard, nearly a year later, the Merchant was to give her one last gift – A master worked set of short blades, their hilts worked and gilt in gold and obsidian to represent twin serpents, with eyes of onyx; To other Heretics, a recognizable symbol of her affiliation, but to all others, merely a beautiful piece of art.


― House Beaufortux

The next year was to be the most eventful of her life. A message arrived, sealed with a lump of black wax, informing her of her first mission. To the southwest of Coerthas, a week’s journey away, lay the border of the lowlands and high lands. Beyond this border lay the lands of the House Beaufortux, a minor house who held a small but important fort in the Draconic Wars. Her mission simple… the fortress must fall.Two weeks of travel brought her into the camp of a minor military captain, Salov Toren, from the distant lands of the Thanalan, who, due to his distant ancestry, met little success in the highly competitive Ishgardian lands. She displayed her various minor wares and traded for bits of coin and gossip. Once she had acquired the needed information, she moved on, paying a visit next to Beaufortux’s holdfast. That night, in the holdfast, she slipped the eyes of the guards, and hid herself, out of sight; Less than an hour later, flaming arrows skittered in from the west, bouncing off the stone walls, and drawing a great deal of attention, pulling the Ishgardian archers to the wall.In the sudden, startled confusion this move brought, Erisha sped through the fort, knocking torches to the ground, igniting the wooden and thatch buildings of the Holdfast. During this upset, while the guards fanned out through the Holdfast to fight the fires and suspected infiltrators, she made her move, slipping into Lord Beaufortux’s war room, garbing herself as one of the many women he kept around him. To him, and his advisors, she poured water, laced lightly with a slow poison, which would cause disorientation, and sickness. Before the hour was gone, she had once more fled the fortress, escaping just moments before the Dravanian infantry forced the gates. Her mission accomplished, she began the long trip home to the city of Ishgard.


― Paths Unknown

The Heretics used her on a handful more occasions, and her prestige as an infiltrator and assassin rapidly grew, as did her prowess with her weapons of choice. Amply rewarded for each mission, she was fairly well-off within her homeland, though her missions oft took her far and wide. But soon… the Draconic Wars would come to an end, as would the fighting and need for a skillset such as her own. Change was upon the city she came to call home and soon Erisha found herself wanting to take leave of the life she once lived.Only… the Heretical Cult was not done and they were less than please to let such an asset leave…

Redemption


"The road to redemption is a treacherous one that the accused must walk through in darkness but if we don't shine the light then there is no hope for anyone finding their way to the other side."Eric’s past choices has left her a challenging path ahead. Once a prominent member of a Heretical group, the elezen woman has come to peace with the end of the war. However, not all have come to peace with the things she has done to their family – even if they don’t know who she is, they have tasted her blades. Meanwhile, members of her Heretical group have yet to let go of the past and still fight their imaginary wars. Too delusional to move on from a cause that no longer has a purpose. As such, Eric now finds herself with many enemies… on both sides of Ishgard’s past.

A Past In Flames

The dance that catches the souls in its flame…… Not tonight. Tonight, all the flames brought was fear and pain. A life torn away from young hands in the blink of an eye.

ㅤbiographyㅤ It is hard to pin down where, or when Eri was born. What is known is Eri, the third of her mother's line, is more known for being the Daughter of Alvarada rather than a Navigator in her own right. While she has only been on her own for a little over a decade, her mother, on the other hand, is known not only for being a Matriarch of her Nomatic House but having been the Navigator of a well-known Rogue Trader House.Those that know Eri's mother, know to fear the wrath she is so well known for. Eri, on the other hand, seems to be nothing like her mother when it comes to personality. Mild-mannered, and even-tempered, there are those who often forget that the Navigator commands her station with grace and authority, with a cold anger that is known for keeping even bridge officers in their place.

ㅤbiographyㅤ There once was a girl born to simple parents, who bore neither great skill nor great courage but lived their lives simply and with happiness. Simplicity, however, seemed not to be in the child’s future – From a young age, she constantly sought adventure, exploring with an abandon that neared defiance to the wishes of her parents. As she aged, she had a notable talent for adventure, often climbing over rocks and trees, and exercising her stealth, to great effect. As with all of her people, she has an unerring sense of direction, and despite repeated forays from the village she called home, the girl never got lost and never failed to find her way home. In her early years, she became less and less feminine, and, despite her birth, began to satisfy her parent’s hopes for a son. She cropped her hair short, and bound her loose clothes with strips of woven plant fibers, often pelting the other kids with sticks and small stones, from the safety of total concealment, in the upper boughs of the sparse trees.One tendency she kept, however, through all her years, was a love for the flute, which she would exercise often, in the gray mornings, when the sun just barely began to light the mist which always covered the land. Finally, recognizing her distaste for the constance and simplicity of village life, her parents began to save up their few spare coins, to prepare to send her to a larger city.The girl’s opportunity to travel outside her small village came, during mid-summer, a Merchant came out of the foggy mounts north of the village, on his usual route, to sell his wares. Over the years, he had witnessed the growing prowess of the young woman, and her ever-greater dissatisfaction with her home.
